Eat the food all the time for the price and food you get anything less then 5 stars is a joke. Yes it is a gas station, but the food is made fresh and served hot for hot food and cold for cold food. Actually the food is awful don't come here the line is to long. (S)
The atmosphere was great, locals all stopping by to catch up with each other. People polite and friendly. Cutie patootie behind me in line, worth coming back just for him!! However, I will not order my sandwich on a croissant next time (minus 1 star), I might try sourdough bread instead. Innards were fine when I ate them later on my own bread at home, but the "croissant" really wasn't a croissant, thick and heavy with no taste. Basically a croissant shaped roll. The store has a variety of other items and a good selection of drinks & chips. I was a bit frustrated that there were no prices on the shelves, only QR codes to scan. I suppose I am old-fashioned that way. There is some counter seating at the window, more places to sit and catch up with folks. All-in-all it is a good place where locals can meetup and shoot the breeze while they wait for their orders. I will be back again, but will remember to order my sandwich on sourdough bread next time.
Located on the Main Street in Templeton, is the do it all Templeton Market. This gas station and store is very large for California. It has seating to eat hot food, fountain drinks, every bottle drink you can think of and huge variety of snacks. We decided to try out the chicken strips and Mojos. They were good. They were all very nice and had a good down home feel.
Great place for quick sandwiches!! Had family in town for my brother in laws graduation from Cal Poly a couple weekends ago. There was a big group of us (8 people) and they were able to make all our sandwiches super quickly. There aren't a ton of fast food options in Templeton so if you're looking for something quick and healthy this is the place to go.
This place was fabulous! GREAT Fried Chicken that is moist and tasty, wonderful salads, chicken strips, etc. this is a great little gem that I just happened upon. The service was extraordinary too. Everyone was super sweet and friendly. And there is plenty of room to eat too. And the restrooms are nice and clean!
